Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Air conditioning remote control arrived safely form Londresand on inspectio nwas foudn to be missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available, this doesnt effect funcitonality)
On testing the remote was dead. The terminals were found to have surface corrosion from an apparent battery leak. The terminals were etched clean and then re-plated using SCP. This restored full functionality.
