Customer's Fault Description
On-off button not operational. Two stage heat button operates a on/off. New batteries installed but no effect.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Valor Electric Fire Remote Control RC01-024 arrived safely from Wetherby and on inserting batteries was found to be transmitting without a button being pressed.

This was due to contaminated button contacts.  Teh contacts were cleaned and then replacement conductive pads glued into palce which restored full functionality.

Please note that any batteries that were inserted into this remote when faulty would most likely be dead or highly drained due to the fault.  Its important to only insert brand new batteries on return.
