Stewart Golf Trolley Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote for for my stewart golf X3 trolley. The unit has become temperamental with it during the battery after each use. The main red light on the remote will constantly flash and stop controlling the trolley or put the wheels in constant on mode.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Golf Trolley remote control arrived safely from Hanworth and on adding a battery the button array would act erratically.  The ribbon cable for the button array  was a very tight fit and was not seated fully.  This caused some buttons to not function (including the stop button).

The cable was re-seated and then hot glued into position due to it being a very tight fit.

Each button was then found to function as normal and the stop button would work to stop the systematic flash from the number button activation.

The customer is to test the remote fully on return. 

Unfortunately after a short time the fault re-appeared, a full refund was issued.
