Dometic Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Dometic
Customers Fault Description : They did work but just stopped working One has got the battery terminal’s missing Everything in caravans are built cheaply
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two remotes arrived safely and on testing one was found to be working as normal, it is possible that the remote needs pairing with the window. To pair the remote with the window press the open and close buttons at the same time for a few seconds whilst pointing it at the skylight.
The second remote was missing its battery terminals due to a battery leak. The terminasl were eplaed but the remote was foudn to act erratically, it was concluded that the IC is at fault caused by the breakdown of a battery. This remote was classed as beyond repair.
If storing the working remote for future its important to not store it with batteries in.
