Technics Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Most of the buttons are a bit hit and miss, but the bottom left corner buttons seem to be the worst. Old batteries were left in it for a long time and they corroded.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Technics Separates audio system remote control arrived safely from Retford and on testing was found to be dead.

This was found to be due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.  Also there was some corrosion spots causing sporadic button response.  The print was reworked.
