Customer's Fault Description
I let the remote fall so not sure if its working.My gas fire insulater seems to think that its actually the Control Box that is broken (I am getting this checked out as well) but just want to make sure the remote is working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This gas fire remote control arrived safely from Norther Ireland and on inspection the display had 2 blackspots which is damage to the screen, the screen cannot be replaced but is functioning.
On testing the remote was found to not transmit an RF signal. When opened the RF submodule was found to have a large crack through it, the print was reworked which restored full functionality. (see image)
