Customer's Fault Description
Light appears in the main screen, but no words can be seen.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Boiler remote control arrived safely from Dorset and on testing was confirmed to have a black illuminated screen.
The screen was replaced which did restore the display, interestingly when the batteries are first inserted the screen takes a couple of seconds to show the characters which isn't normal for this item but it does seem to work fully and a cause for this could not be found.
The customer is to test the remote full on return.
