Customer's Fault Description
Red LED lights up, but does not operate the fire.
I have checked it on a fire that does work with the same remote type, but it doesn't work with that. In the handbook it says the LED should flash when operating but I did notice that the working one didn't seem to either.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote for a gas fire arrived safely from Waterlooville and on testing was found not to transmit a signal due to a faulty transducer.
A replacement transducer was fitted which restored full functionality.
Please note that the LED should not "Flash" it will be a constant illumination whenever the buttons are pressed.
