Customer's Fault Description
Buttons illuminate when pressed but no LED flashing when viewed with mobile phone camera. Previous left batteries in so some contamination around terminals.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This CR450 amplifier remote control arrived safely from Hamble and on inspection was found to not transmit as signal on any button press but would illuminate.
THe battery terminals confirmed that the item had suffered a battery leak, unfortunately when opened the corrosion had traversed onto the main PCB and corrode parts of the button array / print and through points from one side of the PCB to the other.
Due to the damage a repair is not possible.
This item was disposed of as per the customers telephone request 14th Nov 2023
