Buttons too hard to press and negative battery wire detached.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Ceiling Fan remote control arrived safely from Atherton and on testing was found to have very sluggish button response.

This was due to decomposing button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under each button and then the battery cable replaced.  Full functionality was restored.
