Customers Fault Description : Hi Martin - the remote seems to have stopped working recently. The LED screen is fine but when I press any of the buttons - nothing happens - and then the LED fades away... Hmm. Lee
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote control arrived safely from Manchester and on testing with the supplied batteries was found to have a dim display and none of the buttons would respond.
All the customers batteries read 1.5v as normal but one had signs of decomposition.
Once a new set of batteries was inserted full functionality was restored, just to test the old batteries were refitted and the fault returned.
This item has been classed as no fault found and only the return postage is to be charged.
