Customers Fault Description : There is no power in spite of new battery. May be a connection fault?

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Remote control for a gas fire arrived safely from Bedford and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

The battery cable and LED was replaced which restored full funcitonality.
