Customers Fault Description : Batteries corroded in the box and when removed one of the metal springs broke

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Gas fire receiver box and its remote arrived safely and on inspectio nthe receiver was confrimed to have a badly amaged battery block with missing terminals.

The battery block was replaced which restored power to the receiver, the remote was then tested and was confirmed to communicate with the receiver as normal.
