Started showing low battery sign even with new battery; then the screen went chaotic and was flashing all symbols randomly; now dead screen
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire remote control arrived safely from Suffolk and on testing was found to be dead.

The voltage regulator and battery cable were both found to be at fault.  Both were replaced which restored full functioanlity.
