Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Caravan Mover remote control arrived safely from London and on testing was found to have sluggish power button response when double pressed.

A replacement conductive pad was glued under the power button which restored normal power up but the RF signal was found to be present for a second on power up but then would disappear.

There was signs of a battery leak which is thought to have surged the PCB with excess power as a battery breaks down.  After a limite component test was carried out the exact cause could not be pinpointed and it is thought to be with the RF module or main IC that is causing the RF issue.  Sadly a complete repair has not been possible.
