Customers Fault Description : will not turn gas fire on

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This gas fire remote control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal.

The receiver unfortunately has suffered a battery leak which has made a repair not possible.
