Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two garage door remotes arrived safely and on inspection both were held together with tape and both were dead.
The first remote was found to have a damaged battery housing which had been worked on prior to arrival with us, this was resoldered properly and it was found that there was a missing 100R resistor, once this was replaced full functionality weas restored. '
The second remote was found to also have a damaged battery housing, in particular part of the shielding was missing which was shorting out the batteries when inserted. Replacement shielding was fitted 9using heat shrink) this restored full functionality.
