Customer's Fault Description
Two things.
The OPEN button (right/bottom), is faulty. It works sporadically. Would like that repaired.
The "rainbow light show" in the top window is constant and there is no way to turn it off. I would like that connection, severed permanently.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Power Recliner remote control arrived safely from Bovingdon and on inspection the bottom button contacts had started to decompose and contaminate the PCB contacts (See image).
The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued into place.
The "rainbow" effect on the display cannot be modified, all processing is done by a IC which his encased under a large black blob of resin, also we do not modify items as it may have adverse effects on the items, we only restore functionality.
