Berkline Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Berkline
Customers Fault Description : The 2 Couch Remotes feature reclining, heat & massage All of these features are not working. The remotes sometimes blink when plugged in but all of the buttons do not activate a feature.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two 2 Couch Auto Recline Remotes arrived safely from the United States and on inspection both were found to have badly worn button contacts. On one remote it was found that a previous attempt was carried out at repairing the contacts as there was solidified superglue over the contacts. Also one of the buttons was torn out of the membrane.
All conductive pads were cut off and replaced with conductive pads being glued into place. The torn button was replaced with button caps from a scrap remote (brand new button arrays are not available as spares).
