Customer's Fault Description
faulty, the red light will not come on when double clicking the on button, and will not power motor mover, changed battery still not working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote control arrived safely from Washington and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover, a replacement was suplied as we had one from a scrap remote.
On testing the remote was found to not respond to its double power button press.
This was due to the ribbon connector for the facia having dead spots in the cable. The cable was cut back and refitted which restored full funcitonality.
A replacement battery cable was also fitted as the original was too short for a comfortable battery change.
