Sherborne TouchStop Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Sherborne TouchStop
Customers Fault Description : The control is no longer operating the chair. I have been able to isolate the problem to the remote as I have another matching chair and have been able to use this to check that the chair is not faulty. There is a rattle in the remote so I guess something has come detached
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Rise Recliner Armchair remote control arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to rattle when shook.
On opening the plug for the cable internally had come away from the PCB, This was the rattle. The plug was reconnected then reinforce with hot glue to prevent it coming loose again.
