Customer's Fault Description
Remote not connecting to air con unit, sometimes works if warmed up on radiator ?? . I have another remote and that works , So fault with this remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This air con remote arrived safely and on testing initially took a few seconds to power on when adding batteries but then would not respond to its power button press.
The display has damage in the top right corner but this was not the issue. (The displays cannot be replaced as spares are not available)
When opened there was a small amount of contamination over the button array, this was cleared up which did restore functionality to the power button and then the remote would full function as normal.
The customer is to test the remote fully on return. It is not known why the remote was found to work when warmed up as per the customers fault description as we were not able to replicate this issue.
