Dimplex Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Dimplex
Customers Fault Description : Remote not working and cannot pair with fire. Just comes up as PAIR
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Electric fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a display message "Pair" and no method of button combination would remove this message.
A factory reset was attempted but again it had no effect. This seems to be some kind of software issue as a component test revealed no readable issues.
The customer is to attempt a factory reset in the vicinity of the heater as instructed at BFHE-Instructions-Issue-1.pdf (heatershop.co.uk)
Unfortunately without a component error being found a repair is not possible.
After talking to the customer it was concluded that the issue is most likely with the fire itself.
