HomeCom A90-252V70 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Treadmill remote only has 3 buttons - can push buttons in but no red light. When take back off remote, the battery is loose and doesn’t fit snuggly (so may be the issue)!
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Homcom Treadmill (A90-252V70) remote control arrived safely and on testing was dead.
This was found to be due to one of the battery terminals being bent under the battery meaning both terminals were touching the same side of the battery and short circuiting the battery. The terminal was bent back into position which restored full functionality.
A brand new battery will be supplied fitted on return (the customers battery was drained due to the terminal shorting out the battery).
It is extremely important that when it is time to replace the battery to carefully view the position of the terminal before removing the battery as this is a very common issue that will happen again if care is not taken to insert the battery correctly. The battery provided should last for quite some time, therefore please don't remove the battery until it is time to be replaced.
