Audio Research Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Audio Research
Customers Fault Description : The battery box positive terminal of the remote found chemical wastes in light blue/green color. The PCB tracks connected to battery negative terminal are gone. All the bottoms cannot work. PCB marked the model number is S-401GA245 REV1 ALB29S.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This CD5 CD player remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened there was damage to the print from a battery leak. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
