Customer's Fault Description
Led red light stays on all the time that the battery is in place. Does not operate the fire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Fire Remote control arrived safely from Washington and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.

On testing the LED was found to illuminate without a button being pressed.

On opening there was contamination over the PCB and also the buttons (see images).  The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then the buttons replaced.  Full functionality was restored.
