Occasionally the buttons work but 99% of the time they don’t. When they do light up they control the fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have a very dim LED and no signal.

The LED was replaced as well as one of the buttons which was high in resistance.   The battery cable also was replaced due to signs of a battery leak.

Full functionality was restored.
