Customer's Fault Description
The remote has stopped working. I dropped the unit and after this it has had a problem. The remote still works to shut off the fire but doesn't ignite or increase the gas flow.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit as per normal on each button press. Afvter a few minutes of testing the remote would stop transmitting on the up channel.
This was found to be due to a faulty 40.5khz oscillator. The oscillator was replaced which restored full functionality.
