Stewart Golf Trolley X10 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : I sent the unit to Stewart Golf USA and they said that the unit was shorted out and that they do not repair them. I bought a replacement.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was dead. There was a <200 Ohm resistance across the 3.7V line.
After an extensive component test the issue was found to be the PIC chip breaking down. This PIC chip is not available pre programmed which has made a repair not possible.
As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £15 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
