Sherbourne Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Sherbourne
Customers Fault Description : 5 button remote for a Sherborne riser recliner. The middle right button is not responding. The cable encasing the wires has also been stretched.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote control arrived safely and on inspection one of the buttons was found to have been ripped from the housing (see image). The contacts on this button were found to be worn. The button was glued back into position and then conductive pads glued into place. This button will be stiff due to the extra pads but replacement buttons are not available as spares.
The cable was also found to be damaged, a replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind)
