Royal Cozyfires Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote control does not work at all. The batteries in it when my father moved in were ‘mottled’ suggesting that they had corroded inside the remote. I replaced them but that didn’t fix the problem.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Royal Cozyfires Electric fire Remote control for a C360R Wave X Heater arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in functionality.
Unfortunately this was due to a battery leak causing corrosion spots within the remote itself.
The customer was contacted and informed that a clone can be created which may be the better option, please se the image below for the picture of the clone next to the original. This is priced at 20 pounds plus postage (26 In total).
