Batteries have leaked and corroded the spring contact. Remote still works but not much left of spring contact.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sharp remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly corroded battery terminal from a battery leak.
The terminal was replaced and the remote was tested as working as normal.
