the remot display is showing battery flat / empty even when new battery inserted, the display is working ok
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.  This was due to a faulty regulator.  The regulator and battery cable were replaced which restored full functionality.
