Velux Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Velux
Customers Fault Description : no power - dead screen - even with new batteries
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Velux remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening there was corrosion from a battery leak (see image), the print was reworked which restored full functionality. The screen has a discoloured section from the leak, this doesn't effect functionality and replacement screens are not available as spares.
