Customer's Fault Description
The amp does not respond on the press of any of the buttons. Although the red light on the remote still lights up on each press.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Stereo amplifier remote control arrived safely and on testing was initially found to transmit an infra red signal but the remote "rattled" when shook.
When opened one of the IR leds was found to have broken print around its pins (se image).
The print was reworked. The remote was again tested as transmitting a signal.
