MPT 1340 UKTX003 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote has suddenly stopped working. It may just need a new battery but I cannot get it unscrewed. Front flap is loose but it has worked despite this in the past.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote fob arrived safely and on testing was found to have no signal.
When opened the battery was found to be almost dead. Once a replacement Duracell battery was fitted the remote sprang to normal life.
We are not charging for a repair in this instance, instead we have increased the postage charge to cove the supplied battery, the remote will be returned with a brand new Duracell battery installed.
