Customer's Fault Description
Unfortunately the handset has been dropped and it now bleeps when switched on which according to the Truma website indicates a lack of transmission to the mover. It shows an exclamation mark in a red triangle on the handset.. it now doesn’t seem to transmit properly to the mover. It does work intermittently when switched off and on. However, it then seems to lose its connection to the mover.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to start-up with an exclamation warning.
This was found to be due to the slider being out of position, once it was centred and the remote re-powered on the remote would work as normal.
The slider is meant to auto return to the centre position but this doesn't seem to happed. As this does not effect functionality when the slider is auto positioned this is not something that we can rectify (i.e. its not an electronic fault rather a mechanical fault and spare cases are not available)
