Gazco - Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote appears normal with panel showing details of settings etc. but seems to switch itself off when any of the buttons are pressed
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gas fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection the display was found to have a black marking in the bottom right corner due to a broken screen, this screen cannot be replaced but this doesnt effect functionality.
On testing when the buttons were pressed the remote would indeed turn off.
This was due to an intermittent power cable. Once the cable was replaced full functionality weas restored.
