Customer's Fault Description
New Batteries have been installed but does not power up and no red LED
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Carver remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead and not respond to the double power button press.
The RF module was found to have suffered corrosion from liquid contamination and also the RED LED was found to be blown.
The LED and RF module was replaced which restored full functionality.
The battery compartment did have signs of a battery leak but this has caused no issue.
As the RF module has been replaced the remote "might" need to be paired with the receiver on return.
