HSL Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : HSL
Customers Fault Description : Cable has been pulled out of connector pin part. Hard to explain but it looks like the cable has been ripped out. My Dads chair was taken to the care home and the remote was missing when we collected the chair after he’d passed away. After many weeks they found the remote and it’s damaged hence me contacting you as we really want his chair working for my Mum to use and as a memory. Hope you can help
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Recliner Remote Control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly damaged cable and extension lead and also worn button contacts.
A replacement long straight cable was fitted to bypass the need for the damaged extension cable (we cannot get the curly kind). Replacement conductive pads were then glued under each of the main buttons.
