Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection the case at the bottom was partially opened, this usually happens then the battery tray is inserted upside down which forces the case open.
The remote had to be squeezed together in order for the remote to work.
The main issue was actually the negative plate terminal was bent downwards which was making and intermittent power connection even with the case closed.
The terminal was reworked which restored full functionality.
The case was then glued together.
It is important to make a note of the battery tray orientation when replacing the battery. A CR2032 Energizer battery will be supplied fitted on return.
