Light staying on. As if button constantly pressed

This remote arrived safely and on initial testing was found to be functioning as normal on all button presses and the customers fault could not be replicated.

The customer was contacted and it was decided to test the remote till the end of day, luckily the fault did appear in the early evening whereby the blue light was illuminated all the time and the remote would be transmitting without a button being pressed.  This was related to the stop button.

The button contacts were cleaned but the issue remained, it was eventually traced back to a s8550 SMD transistor that after it had been powered for a while it would start to warm up and then a resistance would appear sending a 40k resistance across the stop button.

The S8550 SMD was replaced and then the remote left with batteries overnight with no further issues found.
