Customer's Fault Description
Remote control does not work. When double pressing power on button it won't switch on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This caravan mover remote control arrived safely and on testing weas confirmed to not respond to its double power button press.

This was due to dead spots in the edge connector ribbon cable.  The cable was cut back by 1mm to bypass the dead spots and then hot glued to reinforce it. 

Full functionality was restored.
