Customer's Fault Description
Two of the same control pads need repairs.
1. Batteries changed and found the battery compartment to be corroded but would not work on cleaning the compartment and since then it will not power on. No sign of life at all on battery power but works well if connected electricity by the usb.
2. The other will not power up on battery but works on usb power.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two Velux remotes arrived safely and on testing both would remain dead when using batteries (they would work when using the USB power connection).
Both ha suffered battery leaks which had caused the battery power to be inefficient. Both had the terminal block replaced which restored full functionality.
One remote has a flicker on the screen when touched but this does not effect functionality
