Customer's Fault Description
What was an intermittent fault is now permanent. The unit will not switch on when both power buttons are pressed. A new battery has been installed, but to no good effect.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This motor mover remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to not respond to its twin power button press.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
