Velux Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The bottom battery spring is missing

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Velux Skylight remote type 833212 arrived safely and on testing was dead as it was missing its negative battery terminal which had suffered corrosion from a battery leak.  On opening part of the print was foudn to have suffered corrosion frlom the battery acid.  The PCB was cleaned and then the missing terminal replaced but sadly the remote remained dead.  Due to the damage a repair has not been possible.

As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £6 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
