Does not work, think the battery terminals are corroded, but can’t confirm. I’ve swapped them for new ones and it does not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Surround sound remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

This was due to the oscillator being faulty.  Once replaced full functionality was restored.
