Dru Diablo Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : We have replaced the battery, and but seems no life to device and nothing shows on the display. Also the back slide opener does not fit snuggly, but we're happy to keep this closed with tape as long as you can get the device working. I feel my 3 year old grandson was left playing with it unsupervised? See what you can do for me and Thank you in advance Michelle
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was found to be warped, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was confir4med to be dead.
This was due to a damaged battery cable. A replacement cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
