Remote Fixer Repair Response
This golf trolley remote control arrived safely and on inspeciton was dismantled prior to arrival with us. The battery that was with the remote was almost dead at 4 volts.
On testing with a new battery, the remote was found to be transmitting but the button response was irregular.
There was a tiny amount of contamination over the PCB but this was not causing an issue.
Unfortunately, the issue appears to be the button facia itself with intermittent / sluggish response on each button press.
The red light does illuminate when the buttons are actuated, and a signal is present the responsiveness of the facia is such that due to the lack of spare facias a repair is not possible.
