Customer's Fault Description
The remote control drained the batteries so I modified the controller so that we could disconnect the batteries when not in use. This worked in a fashion for 10 years or more but the battery clips do not last long and and I saw your advert and thought it was time I had the unit repaired by an expert.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a modified / damaged battery cable and also the LED was detached from its solder points.
A replacement battery cable was fitted and then the LED soldered firmly back into position.
Full functionality was restored.
